“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” (ROMANS 5:1-5)

Today I was thinking about this passage above, and how it can take shape in many ways in our daily life!
I am feeling under some pressure, lately. And, sometimes, it is hard to look to some “natural” situations with spiritual eyes!
Thank God we have His Word, that reminds us to do that when we are struggling to recognize the”sufferings that produces perseverance“,right?!
Our “blood and flesh” self wants things always smooth and easy, isn’t it? However our spirit knows better. We need some work out, we need to be always aware and fighting back the attacks that happens in the Spiritual realm, and the bible talks about it in Ephesians 6:10-12:
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. “
It would be easy(and stupid) to try to fight back “natural situations” with our own strength. But the Word of God encourages us to do something better: Revest ourselves with the full armor of God and PRAY. Pray at all times.
If you are feeling pressured by all sides, by people and situations, just like me, I encourage you to adopt this strategy of Ephesians 6. Let’s remember who is the REAL ENEMY( It is not people).
God is our defender, at all times, in any given situation! He will not let us down. Praise be to Him for it. Halleluijah.
I pray that God will make us strong(in Him) and wise, so we can fight back the real enemy with the right weapons! In the name of Jesus, amen.

Hoje eu estava pensando sobre essa passagem acima, e como ela pode se concretizar de diversas formas no nosso dia a dia!
Ultimamente, eu tenho me sentido sob pressão. E, às vezes, é difícil olhar para algumas “situações naturais” com olhos espirituais!
Graças a Deus temos a Sua Palavra, que nos lembra de fazer isso quando estamos lutando para reconhecer os “sofrimentos que produzem perseverança”, certo?!
Nosso eu de carne e sangue quer que as coisas sejam sempre suaves e fáceis, não é? No entanto, nosso espírito sabe melhor. Precisamos nos exercitar, precisamos estar sempre atentos e lutando contra os ataques que acontecem no reino Espiritual, e a bíblia fala sobre isso em Efésios 6:10-12:
“Finalmente, seja forte no Senhor e na força de seu poder. 11 Vista toda a armadura de Deus, para que você possa resistir às ciladas do diabo. 12 Pois não lutamos contra carne e sangue, mas contra os governantes, contra as autoridades, contra os poderes cósmicos sobre esta escuridão atual, contra as forças espirituais do mal nos lugares celestiais.”
Seria fácil (e estúpido) tentar lutar contra “situações naturais” com nossas próprias forças. Mas a Palavra de Deus nos encoraja a fazer algo melhor: Revestir-nos de toda a armadura de Deus e ORAR. Orar em todos os momentos!
Se você está se sentindo pressionado por todos os lados, por pessoas e situações, assim como eu, te encorajo a adotar esta estratégia de Efésios 6. Vamos lembrar quem é o VERDADEIRO INIMIGO (não são as pessoas).
Deus é nosso defensor, em todos os momentos, em qualquer situação! Ele não vai nos decepcionar. Louvado seja Ele por isso. Aleluia.
Oro para que Deus nos torne fortes (nele) e sábios, para que possamos lutar contra o verdadeiro inimigo com as armas certas! Em nome de Jesus, amém.
