“Já sabemos que a Grande Comissão é um chamado para todos os cristãos, independentemente de seu chamado, dons e talentos. Todos nós somos chamados a proclamar o Reino de Deus, convidar pessoas a fazerem parte do Reino.
“Portanto, vão e façam discípulos de todas as nações, batizando-os em nome do Pai e do Filho e do Espírito Santo, ensinando-os a obedecer a tudo o que eu lhes ordenei. E eu estarei sempre com vocês, até o fim dos tempos.” Mateus 28:19-20,
Mas, se somos todos chamados cumprir esta tarefa, por que muitos de nós não praticamos com frequência e intencionalidade?“
As 3 barreiras mais comuns são:
- Medo: Muitas pessoas têm medo de constranger os outros, de serem rejeitadas ou criticadas se falarem sobre sua fé.
- Insegurança: Muitas pessoas sentem-se inseguras sobre a capacidade de compartilhar a Verdade de forma eficaz.
- Não saber como falar: Muitas pessoas simplesmente não sabem como falar sobre o Reino de Deus de uma forma que seja relevante e significativa para os outros.
Como superar essas dificuldades?
São dificuldades reais e legítimas. E se fossem fáceis de superar, muito mais cristãos estariam compartilhando sobre o Reino de Deus! Mas existem algumas coisas que podemos fazer para superar essas dificuldades e falar do Reino de Deus com mais frequência e intencionalidade. Aqui estão 3 delas:
- Busque como se estivesse a procura de tesouros escondidos: esteja atento procurando por “pessoas de paz” (Lc 10), aquelas em que Deus já está trabalhando e que já estão sedentas pela Água da Vida – mesmo que não saibam ainda. Elas estarão abertas para ouvir. Você as encontrará ao iniciar conversas espirituais.
- Peça a ajuda do Espírito Santo: O Espírito Santo é o nosso ajudador e conselheiro – e sobretudo, é ele quem convence no final das contas. Ele pode nos dar coragem, sabedoria e amor (sim, amor a Deus e ao nosso próximo!) para falar sobre o Reino de Deus. O nosso papel é semear, achar essas “pessoas de paz” e convidá-las para fazer parte do Reino de Deus.
- Pratique: Quanto mais você falar sobre o Reino de Deus, melhor ficará. Comece com pequenas conversas com amigos e familiares. À medida que você se sentir mais confortável, poderá começar a falar com pessoas que você não conhece.”

Barriers and SOLUTIONS to fulfill the Great Comission!
“We already know that the Great Commission is a calling for all Christians, regardless of their calling, gifts and talents. We are all called to proclaim the Kingdom of God, to invite people to be part of the Kingdom.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, even to the end of the times.” Matthew 28:19-20,
But if we are all called to fulfill this task, why many of us don’t practice it frequently and intentionally?”
The 3 most common barriers are:
-Fear: Many people are afraid of embarrassing others, of being rejected or criticized if they talk about their faith.
-Insecurity: Many people feel insecure about their ability to share the Truth effectively.
-Not Knowing How to Speak: Many people simply don’t know how to talk about the Kingdom of God in a way that is relevant and meaningful to others.
How to overcome these difficulties?!
These are real and legitimate difficulties. And if they were easy to overcome, many more Christians would be sharing about the Kingdom of God! But there are some things we can do to overcome these difficulties and talk about the Kingdom of God more frequently and intentionally. Here are 3 of them:
-Search as if you were looking for hidden treasures: be alert looking for “people of peace” (Luke 10), those in whom God is already working and who are already thirsty for the Water of Life – even if they don’t know it yet. They will be open to listening. You will find them when you start spiritual conversations.
Ask for the help of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is our helper and counselor – and above all, he is the one who ultimately convinces. He can give us courage, wisdom, and love (yes, love for God and our neighbors!) to speak about the Kingdom of God. Our role is to sow seeds, find these “people of peace” and invite them to be part of the Kingdom of God.
Practice: The more you talk about the Kingdom of God, the better you will get. Start with small conversations with friends and family. As you become more comfortable, you can start talking to people you don’t know.”
