Enjoy the ride!

Hello dear reader! How you doing?!

Today I was thinking, during my quiet moment, how sometimes we are in such a hurry in our lives. We rush to finish some task or to achieve some goal. We don’t really pay much attention to the process. We don’t enjoy it.

Have you ever got to this conclusion?!

In this busy modern days, we are always running, always doing something and the “to do” list NEVER ends. As a working, single mother, I have to be intentional with my time. This is especially true with my resting time. If I let it to chance, I’ll never stop doing things.

Psalms 127, one of my favorites, says that God ENJOYS TO GIVE US REST, check it out:

If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?Psalm 127:1-2

He loves to give us rest. The Scriptures also says that it is USELESS to work relentlessly, if God is not the center and the Guardian of our lives!

Isn’t interesting?!

I mean, if I really think it through, it’s a relief to know I don’t need to work everything out on my own. I have a Helper. This Helper works for my good while I rest!

God is really good to His children!

Still, like I said in the beginning, I have to BE INTENTIONAL. Not only with my physical rest. I also need to focus on my mind’s rest. I have(and I think this is a universal issue) this tendency to worry too much about life and the future!

So, if you are struggling to relax and TRUST God, I selected some verses. These will help you to ENJOY MORE your ride. These verses will aid in being more conscious and thankful for the process. They will help you to rest in God, instead of just thinking about achieving your goals.

We really need it, don’t we?!

I hope you enjoy your day. Slow it down a little bit. Embrace this beautiful process of becoming a son and daughter of God!

He is a great Father and teacher. There is no need to be in a rush. God got you and everything under control!

Enjoy yourself, you can rest in His Presence! Have a blessed day, folks!

I pray that God restores you through His Word. That He reveals to you, personally, his amazing love and gives you PEACE, in Jesus name!

“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving.

People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.Matthew 6:30-33

“We saw it, we heard it, and now we’re telling you so you can experience it along with us, this experience of communion with the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. Our motive for writing is simply this: We want you to enjoy this, too. Your joy will double our joy!” 1 John 1:3-4

All you who fear God, how blessed you are! how happily you walk on his smooth straight road! You worked hard and deserve all you’ve got coming. Enjoy the blessing! Soak in the goodness!” Psalm 128:1-2

“… Your hard times are also our hard times. When we see that you’re just as willing to endure the hard times as to enjoy the good times, we know you’re going to make it, no doubt about it.2 Corinthians 1:6-7

…Don’t be gullible in regard to smooth-talking evil. Stay alert like this, and before you know it the God of peace will come down on Satan with both feet, stomping him into the dirt. Enjoy the best of Jesus! Romans 16:19-20

“And you? Go about your business without fretting or worrying. Relax. When it’s all over, you will be on your feet to receive your reward.” Daniel 12:13

“Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6

Relax, everything’s going to be all right; rest, everything’s coming together; open your hearts, love is on the way!” Jude 1:2
