Hey friend! How are you doing today?!
If you, like me, sometimes start to wonder why something that you expected, hoped for, did not happened(yet) or maybe you’re looking to what is missing in your life, instead of looking with gratitude to what you already have, by God’s Grace, this message is for you. I think this reflection will help you out!
It is good to take some time to remember and to be thankful for what God already did in our lives. We can look back and, be more aware of where we were before, the kind of person we were, and where we are now.
And I hope, that just like me, you come to the conclusion that you are so much better now. So, praise God, who brought us all the way to this moment. The path of healing and growth is usually long, but is worth it!
Enjoy this Psalm and take some time to praise the Lord for all that He is, and for all that He has done in your life!

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.
Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out!
Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.
For he has gathered the exiles from many lands,
from east and west,
from north and south.
Some wandered in the wilderness,
lost and homeless.
Hungry and thirsty,
they nearly died.
“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble,
and he rescued them from their distress.
He led them straight to safety,
to a city where they could live.
Let them praise the Lord for his great love
and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
For he satisfies the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things.
Some sat in darkness and deepest gloom,
imprisoned in iron chains of misery.
They rebelled against the words of God,
scorning the counsel of the Most High.
That is why he broke them with hard labor;
they fell, and no one was there to help them.
“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.
He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom;
he snapped their chains.
Let them praise the Lord for his great love
and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
For he broke down their prison gates of bronze;
he cut apart their bars of iron.
Some were fools; they rebelled
and suffered for their sins.
They couldn’t stand the thought of food,
and they were knocking on death’s door.
“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.
He sent out his word and healed them,
snatching them from the door of death.
Let them praise the Lord for his great love
and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving
and sing joyfully about his glorious acts.
Some went off to sea in ships,
plying the trade routes of the world.
They, too, observed the Lord’s power in action,
his impressive works on the deepest seas.
He spoke, and the winds rose,
stirring up the waves.
Their ships were tossed to the heavens
and plunged again to the depths;
the sailors cringed in terror.
They reeled and staggered like drunkards
and were at their wits’ end.
“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.
He calmed the storm to a whisper
and stilled the waves.
What a blessing was that stillness
as he brought them safely into harbor!
Let them praise the Lord for his great love
and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
Let them exalt him publicly before the congregation
and before the leaders of the nation.
He changes rivers into deserts,
and springs of water into dry, thirsty land.
He turns the fruitful land into salty wastelands,
because of the wickedness of those who live there.
But he also turns deserts into pools of water,
the dry land into springs of water.
He brings the hungry to settle there
and to build their cities.
They sow their fields, plant their vineyards,
and harvest their bumper crops.
How he blesses them!
They raise large families there,
and their herds of livestock increase.
When they decrease in number and become impoverished
through oppression, trouble, and sorrow,
the Lord pours contempt on their princes,
causing them to wander in trackless wastelands.
But he rescues the poor from trouble
and increases their families like flocks of sheep.
The godly will see these things and be glad,
while the wicked are struck silent.
Those who are wise will take all this to heart;
they will see in our history the faithful love of the Lord.

Olá, amigo! Como você está hoje?!
Se você, como eu, às vezes começa a se perguntar por que algo que você esperava, ansiava, não aconteceu (ainda). Ou talvez você esteja olhando para o que está faltando em sua vida, em vez de olhar com gratidão para o que você já tem, pela graça de Deus; esta mensagem é para você. Acho que este Salmo vai te ajudar!
É bom reservar um tempo para lembrar e ser grato pelo que Deus já fez na nossa vida. Podemos olhar para trás e ter mais consciência de onde estávamos antes, do tipo de pessoa éramos e de onde estamos agora.
E espero que, assim como eu, você chegue à conclusão de que está muito melhor agora. Então, louve a Deus, que nos trouxe até aqui.
O caminho da cura e do crescimento costuma ser longo, mas vale a pena!

“Oh, graças a Deus — ele é tão bom!
Seu amor nunca acaba.
Todos vocês, libertos por Deus, contem ao mundo!
Contem como ele os libertou da opressão,
Depois os reuniu de todos os lugares,
dos quatro ventos, dos sete mares.
Alguns de vocês vagaram por anos no deserto,
procurando, mas não encontrando, um bom lugar para morar,
Desfalecendo de fome e morrendo de sede,
cambaleando e tropeçando, à beira da exaustão.
Então, em sua condição desesperadora, vocês clamaram a Deus.
Ele os tirou de lá na hora certa;
Ele colocou seus pés em uma estrada maravilhosa
que os levou direto a um bom lugar para viver.
Então, agradeçam a Deus por seu maravilhoso amor,
por sua misericórdia milagrosa para com os filhos que ele ama.
Ele derramou grandes goles de água em gargantas ressecadas;
os famintos tiveram o que comer.
Alguns de vocês foram trancados em uma cela escura,
cruelmente confinados atrás das grades,
punidos por desafiar a Palavra de Deus,
por virar as costas para o conselho do Deus Altíssimo —
Uma sentença dura, e seus corações tão pesados,
e nenhuma alma à vista para ajudar.
Então vocês clamaram a Deus em sua condição desesperadora;
ele os livrou na hora certa.
Ele os tirou de sua cela escura,
abriu a prisão e os tirou.
Então, agradeçam a Deus por seu maravilhoso amor,
por sua misericórdia milagrosa para com as crianças que ele ama;
Ele quebrou as pesadas portas da cadeia,
ele quebrou as grades da prisão como palitos de fósforo!
Alguns de vocês estavam doentes porque viveram uma vida ruim,
seus corpos sentindo os efeitos do seu pecado;
Vocês não suportavam a visão de comida,
tão miseráveis que pensaram que seria melhor morrer.
Então vocês clamaram a Deus em sua condição desesperadora;
Ele te livrou na hora certa.
Ele falou a palavra que te curou,
que te tirou da beira da morte.
Então agradeça a Deus por seu maravilhoso amor,
por sua misericórdia milagrosa para com os filhos que ele ama;
Ofereça sacrifícios de gratidão,
conte ao mundo o que ele fez — cante em voz alta!
Alguns de vocês partiram em grandes navios;
vocês se lançaram ao mar para fazer negócios em portos distantes.
No mar, vocês viram Deus em ação,
viram seus modos de tirar o fôlego com o oceano:
Com uma palavra, ele chamou o vento —
uma tempestade oceânica, ondas imponentes!
Vocês dispararam alto no céu, então o fundo despencou;
seus corações ficaram presos em suas gargantas.
Vocês giraram como um pião, cambalearam como um bêbado,
vocês não sabiam qual era a ponta.
Então vocês clamaram a Deus em sua condição desesperadora;
ele te livrou na hora certa.
Ele acalmou o vento até que se tornasse um sussurro,
colocou uma mordaça em todas as grandes ondas.
E você ficou tão feliz quando a tempestade se acalmou,
e ele o conduziu em segurança de volta ao porto.
Então, agradeça a Deus por seu maravilhoso amor,
por sua misericórdia milagrosa para com os filhos que ele ama.
Elevem seus louvores quando o povo se reúne,
gritem Aleluia quando os anciãos se reúnem!
Deus transformou rios em terras devastadas,
fontes de água em lama seca pelo sol;
pomares viçosos tornaram-se planícies alcalinas
por causa da maldade das pessoas que viviam ali.
Então ele transformou terras devastadas em piscinas de água doce,
terra árida em fontes de água,
trouxe os famintos e os estabeleceu lá;
eles se mudaram para lá — que lugar maravilhoso para se viver!
Semearam os campos, plantaram vinhas,
colheram uma colheita abundante.
Ele os abençoou e eles prosperaram grandemente;
seus rebanhos de gado nunca diminuíram.
Mas o abuso, a maldade e os problemas diminuíram
enquanto ele desprezava os príncipes e os mandava embora.
Ele deu aos pobres um lugar seguro para viver,
tratou seus clãs como ovelhas bem cuidadas.
Os bons veem isso e ficam felizes;
os maus ficam sem palavras, paralisados.
Se você for realmente sábio, refletirá sobre isso —
é hora de você apreciar o profundo amor de Deus.” Salmos 107(A Mensagem)
